Two Hair and Make up guys, together in business for 27 years, are as different
as night and day, like Dean and Jerry, Alfred and Thomas have had a banter that
is a constant stream of humor, information, the day's take on current events,
and the latest tips on style, fashion, skin care, and weight loss. Our clients
range from high profile entertainment, education and politicians, to working
and stay at home moms. We mix big dig workers and soccer dads, to MBA's and
the new male "metrosexuals". All love to engage in the cross talk that always
is spiced with Alfred and Thomas's one of kind brand of often conflicting, sometimes
fiery viewpoints. As everyone knows, oil and vinegar makes a great Salad dressing

ALFRED:was the founder of the Alfred Harvard Sq
Salon in 1983. With 3 kids, he can tell
you any Red Sox statistic you ever wanted
to know. His city, edgy attitude helps
make him one of the best in the business
at giving a high fashion look, and conceiving
advanced concepts in cutting and hair coloring.
His work include credits for layouts in
print and television. Alfred specializes
in all areas of highlighting and hair coloring
for men and women, razor and precision
cutting for women, classic barbering for
men, permanents, updoos, and expert blowdry
styling. |

THOMAS:is
co-owner and commutes from Martha's Vineyard.
He has been working next to Alfred Wed
through Sat for 27 years. He's the "Lucy" to
Alfred's "Ricky". a 140 pound weight loss
20 years ago makes him an amateur diet
councilor. Working with Martha Stewart
Weddings Magazine makes wedding consults
a good thing. Thomas specializes in classic
styling, highlights, all color enhancement
for men and women, color correction, distinguished
and contemporary cuts, and subtle make
up technique. |

GALINA:
owned her own hair and makeup studio in
Moscow. For the Continental influence,
she was trained in high concept European
razor cutting and highlighting techniques
from France. Galina is a Makeup artist
and wedding specialist. Her updoos and
blowdry styling is flawless, and her professional
look help men stay business like and well
groomed as well. |

KAREN:
has been a member of the Alfred Harvard
Square family for 15 years. Now as a full
time Mom, she's a part time stylist on
Tues and Fridays. Karen Specializes in
contemporary looks for the younger Harvard
Square crowd, men's hair cuts, and blowdrys
for an elegant evening or to straighten
those curly lochs. |

MARIE:
comes to us from the great experience
at a Brookline salon.
Trained in Limerick, she specializes in
men's cuts, color, highlighting, razor
technique, and blow styling. With a friendly
smile and a twinkle in the eye, Marie brings
a breath of fresh air to our salon. |

FRANKIE:
she is our salon manager,the captain of
our ship, the voice you hear when you
call, the fingers you feel when you get
a great scrub at the sink, and the calming
sense of serenity when the salon gets
busy. |

LISA:
has worked with Alfred and Thomas for
over 20 years. As a highlight specialist
she comes in on Saturdays and is our
foil queen. Lisa has a long standing
clientele so make your appointment a
week or two in advance for that perfect
highlight and cut. |
